- Are you even building a personal brand?
Are you even building a personal brand?
Obviously, visibility means posting 5 times a day, right?
Because if you’re not showing up every day…
If you’re not in people’s feeds constantly…
If you’re not chasing trending audio, carousels, or content pillars…
Are you even building a personal brand?
That’s what it feels like, right?
But here’s what I’ve come to learn:
Visibility isn’t about volume.
It’s about recognition.
A founder I worked with last year was getting frustrated.
He was building a brilliant product.
The business was growing.
But every time he opened LinkedIn, he felt… behind.
Everyone seemed to be everywhere - posting daily, repurposing content, running newsletters, hosting podcasts.
And he didn’t want to do all that.
Didn’t have time to do all that.
So instead, we built something simple.
A rhythm that fit his life.
He showed up every couple of weeks - not with noise, but with clarity.
His updates were intentional. Rooted in what he was building and who it was for.
Nothing performative. Just presence, purpose, and momentum.
He didn’t try to hack the algorithm.
He didn’t chase reach.
He didn’t become a “content creator.”
But here’s what did happen:
People started commenting: “This is exactly what I’ve been thinking.”
His content became reference points in conversations.
Prospects showed up already trusting him.
His brand grew - without the burnout.
Investors and partners reached out.
He got invited ti take the stage.
That’s visibility.
Not just being seen - but being remembered for something that matters.
So here’s your gut check:
If you stopped posting tomorrow…
Would anyone notice?
Would someone miss your perspective?
Would your positioning still sit in their mind?
Would someone still feel like they know you?
Because that’s what real visibility does.
It doesn’t just show up.
It stays with people.
And it keeps working - even when you’re not online.
A thought to leave you with →
Don’t post to fill the feed.
Post to build leverage.
Whether that’s once a week or once a month,
make it count.
Not just for likes - but for trust.
And remember ‘Life before likes’!
That’s it for this week.
See you next Thursday (or Friday 😀 )
Keep building,
A
