The saw you. But they forgot you.

You posted.
You showed up.
You did the thing.

And still…
no DMs.
no deals.
no traction.

The problem?
You didn’t leave a mark.

Here’s what most don’t realise

Being seen isn’t enough.
You need to be remembered.

Psychologists call it The Forgetting Curve.
50% gone in an hour.
90% gone in a week.

Your brand? A leaky bucket.
Every time you don’t show up - people forget.

That smart post you made last month?
Buried under a hundred more.
The podcast you dropped last quarter?
No one’s sharing it anymore.

But here’s the kicker.
It’s not about posting more. It’s about building memory.

Consistency builds trust.
Repetition builds recall.
Depth builds relationships.

You don’t need to go viral.
You need to be top of mind when it matters.

So here’s the rule

If you don’t remind them weekly…
Don’t expect them to remember you when it counts.

You’re not building a brand.
You’re building trust that sticks.

And trust isn’t a tweet.
It’s a track record.

Try this

Ask yourself: “Will this help someone remember me next week?”

Pull up your last 5 posts - which one would someone still remember in 7 days?

If someone saw your last post, could they explain what you stand for?

If not, you’re not building a personal brand.
You’re just filling a feed.

That’s it for this week.

See you next Thursday.

Keep building,

A

PS: If you want to see how I’m applying this myself, I’ve shared my own brand story here. It’s proof that memory builds momentum.
